Do you want to remove the grayish look from the clouds? If so, mask and blend in one of the original shots, which presumably has lighter tones in the clouds.

Beautiful colour/scene - a shame there is no blue sky.....but yes, it lacks contrast.
LooserCanon is right ...or another approach is to paint in a mask for the land, convert to selection and apply "Local Contrast" to the land only, then reverse the selection and lighten the sky using Levels. I would also reverse the selection again (to select the trees only again) and sharpen...and crop out the bottom grass. It ends up like this:

Here I duplicated the layer and changed the blend mode to softlight. I also increased the sharpness to bring out more detail. Finally, I used Topaz simplify

WOW!! thankds! i did try the masks with a lighter sky and it helped a little but didnt quite the trick. it was gray morning with thick fog just blowing and burning off. I will try it again and the crop is good on the bottom LC. i like navydoc's interpretation especially in the sky but i want to keep this one more natural. the sharpening is a little strong for me but it make an interesting image.i'm a big watercolor effect fan !! i used Topaz with a different preset with a layer also. thanks again!!
