I bought the 70-200 mk ii is but the case is way to big to fit in my camera bag .
Anyone know of a lens bag for it ?
Prefer something like suede that does not sweat and will hold lens with ring on it .

Why not make one or choose the fabric/material and have a small sewing co. or seamstress sew on for you?

It stimulates small business and you get a truely unique work to hold your very expensive lens. :)

Heck you could even put a small perforated velcro pouch on the inside of it for a few silica packets to keep things dry. :)

Why were you trying to put the lens case into a camera bag? Is your camera bag a sack with no padding whatsoever?

lol check out what his problem was. he said the case was too big. i like the above advice though, i find myself never using cases inside my lens bag for all my higher quality lenses. i see photojournalists going around all the time with lenses in their hoodie pockets without even lens caps.

SMP_Homer -- Thanks , I will watch for a good one - At least it's the right time of year .
I guess , I was not to clear .
I have a pelican soft side - rolling camera case .
I have one of the blue canon belt pouches [It holds my 10-22 and 35-350 reversed hoods] the 17-55 is generally on camera . [this is my day tripper .]
If I plan on spending night the pelican is taken . I had a sack made for the 35-350 , but her husband retired and they left state . I went to several shoe / cobblers but they were not interested . Sense this is not that new a lens , I thought maybe someone else wanted to protect theirs .
The sack for the 35-350 will be used until I find one [I will keep it in the 70-200 case .]but it was made to store lens without tripod ring .
I know you are probably wondering what else I am goofy about - my 380 , 580 mkii , intervalometer , light meter all have their own bags / cases . I also put filter stacker caps on my filters .
