I happend to get a couple shots of some celebs @ the video music awards. My friends said that maybe People or some other mag would be interested in them. Does anyone know where to send these? I tried each mags site, but no luck really. Thanks all!!

Not to put a damper on your hopes, but there was many photographers there, on the red carpet, in the press area, for the show, etc.

Unless you have some ground breaking shot and something that is really different, I doubt if will be able to do much with them. I have worked a couple awards shows, actually in Miami also, and have only been able to sell 2 or three photos, after making some really good connections, and they approached me.

It wasn't much money either. But you never know, keep trying.

Thanks guys. I figured if it was standard red carpet stuff I wouldn't bother but i got some pre boarding boat stuff where there wasn't a photog around for miles. Some came out pretty cool I thought.

That Usher shot is really nice. :) And being all white and Sunny outside, I know it wasn't an easy shot for exposure. Nice Job

Why on earth did you insert that big copyright symbol on the photos. Good luck on getting them to even take a look at them seriously.

I'm guessing that wasn't on the pictures he sent to the magazines.

Yes, they were. And they were on there because I have never in my life ever sent a photo to anywhere ever, so I have no idea what to do or how to do it. So if I look like a complete idiot... oh well. I wasn't planning on making a million, I just thought it would be neat to see my pic in a magazine or something. How else would you assure nthey just don't post it anyway (for the next time)
PS thanks for the compliments all. =)

I really like the shot of Usher. He looks laid back and the whole setting seems glamorous somehow to me. I think the girl is Scarlet Johansson, but not sure. :)

Thanks, yes that is Kelly. Neither kelly or Usher stopped to sign autographs or even say hello to he families of the coast guard, while Ricky Martin practically jumped into the crowd. He signed autographs and kissed babies for 20 minutes. It was pretty nice of him. He even acknowledged me, and moved over so I could get a clear shot of him. Funny how different some celebs are.
