Anyone know what flashes the XSi takes. Canon list no flashes for the xti under acessories. I know it takes flashes. Any idea where that information could be?

Canon.
420EX, 430EX, 580EX.
Metz.
48 AF-1, 58 AF-1.
Just a few for you, they will all work in ETTL/ETTLII..

Or goggle flash for Canon Xti..

Any of Canon's hot shoe flash units will work with the XSi. No worries. I just typed in Canon XSi flash mount in the google search an it listed all kinds of options. Amazon is good at displaying flash options for cameras as well.

Your camera is also fully compatible with the older Canon 550EX and 420EX flashes which are only available on the used market...
