I was thinking further about your wonderful photos of this guy and wanted to tell you a couple of other interesting facts. The mainstay of their diet is the red squirrel and they are about the only creature that can successfully pursue them at high speed through the treetops. Despite their ferocity with squirrels, they are quite fearless and docile and can quite easily be fed by hand with a little training. Nifty little creatures, I'd say. Al

This guy came out to eat some chocolate biscuits that we broke up in to small pieces for him. He was at the top of whistler mountain at the cable car station.
