Ida whitened the teeth in 8, that dark background makes them more apparent..

good job i like them

I think they aren't bad but the processing is taking them down from what they could be. I am not a fan of having like a dozen types of processing in one session. For example in #4 both of their skin tones look super pink. I think they'd all look better with some nice, clean processing. Also.. your watermark is a bit distracting, but I know some photographers prefer that with the fear of being stolen lol.

I agree with this 99%. I don't find the size of your watermark distracting. I think you should make a separate watermark for your portrait work.
The processing isn't bad, but I find the skin tones ranging back and forth are distracting.
Good poses though and not a bad set for a sports shooter.

Thanks all, I appreciate your comments and will take them into account.

First is my fav with the last one coming in at a close second - beautiful! I like the posing in the other ones, very creative. 2 is a fun idea with the marquee though maybe the font should be a little more theatre-ish. I also agree that you might want to change your watermark for your portraits - the soccerball is a little destracting :)

Thanks all.

Mr,itchy- the wb is not what is changing. Just differing processing styles. Thanks for the comment.

Yup. I was actually going to comment on how bang on the WB seems to be. GJ :)

Imho - you did a great job, I'd just use a thicker font like Arial Black or maybe Franklin Gothic Heavy unless you can find a specific cinema marquee font (not sure if you want to go to that much trouble). I'm not sure you can add depth with shadow or anything since its a straight on shot, but maybe you could not have the lettering so black. You can use a few shades softer or pick another color thats in the photo (darker brown maybe) and fade/blur it just a little so it doesn't look like the letters are laying ontop of the photograph. This is what I have in my head when I think marquee font... The Colonial Theatre (external link)

But again, I really like what you already have :)
