I think you did a good job.

I think that #3 is a little soft.

Unbelievable... you made me ashamed of myself and unworthy of my new 35mm f2... what lighting did you use for the #6? Just a reflector?

Big fan of 4&5. Too bad that he didn't close his eyes of 4. And great find with the "Love is Overrated" graffiti on 5.

Thanks all!!! No fill flash or reflector were used, It was midday and was very overcast which was perfect soft light. I used his gray sweater to spot meter for exposure.

I like all of them except the second one and to a lesser degree, the last one, where she is scrunching up her face when he is kissing her. I just think she could have worn a more flattering expression for them, but she may love them! My favorite is the one where they are laying down.

Don't knock the AF. If you have your selection set right, it works great.

My first critique would be to get more of a consistent processing. Some are very contrasty, some are kinda cool on the blue side, and then 2 are really warm/magenta. For lighting, be careful not to catch shadows in eye sockets. A fill flash or facing them towards the lightsource can minimize this.. or getting a reflector of some sort.

Attached is my edit of one image. With some notes. Also edited some beauty and skin, slight color adjustment.

I liked the first one, the graffiti one, and the last ones the best. I think her face scrunge in the last one looks better than in #2. But as someone mentioned, maybe she'll like them both! I like the lying down one, too, but his facial expression kinda kills it.

And yes, watch for the squirrel eyes. First thing you see when looking at the photo is the eyes, so when they are lit properly, they make the photo come to life.
