I recently shot my first wedding. It was an incredible learning experience in a beautiful setting. I'm trying to get a set together that captures the weekend. This is what I have so far:

Would you take any of these pics out? Adjust any?

Sorry, no immediate critique on these... They're just very good :D

Or maybe I'll just give it a go on some images... mind you, this is coming from an amateur and they're VERY minor comments - and only because it's probably more useful to you than yet another "great job"-comment.

The right-side frame of #6 (dude in straw hat + sunglasses) is very centered, I'd crop that so his sunglasses are at about 1/3 from the top.

If possible, I'd cool down the white balance very slightly in #7

Try to clone out / crop the tree on the very left side of #10, since it's only half in the frame as it is anyway.

Same for the edge of the pool in #11. It breaks the flow of the waterline and I think the image would appear wider if you crop like 5% off the left side.

White balance in #12 seems inconsistent with the rest of similar shots (at least for the faces - compare it to #14?),I'd warm it up a bit.

The horizon is slightly tilted in #19 and #20

Hope this helps you a bit, but again, very, very nice set!

Agreed. I love them. One niggle is that I'm not wild about the laptop in the frame at the rehearsal dinner. Otherwise I don't have anything negative to say.

Hard to disagree with the comments above. You produced pro-level work on your first time.

Thanks for all of the feedback, guys. I appreciate it.

I was warned that weddings were challenging to say the least, but had no idea just how physically and mentally exhausting they are. For the better part of two days I didn't stop moving and used just about every drop of photography knowledge I've ever picked up.

That said, it was a bunch of fun and I think I'd do another. :)
