Very nice captures! It looks like all involved (including you) had a great time. Your images really capture the joy of the wedding. Great photojournalism.

The bikini shirts are awesome. I would have put them on the guys... put them against the sky and blown out the background. :)

Thanks. I shot mainly with either my 28-70 or 17-40 on my 5Dii, and for some of the portrait and ceremony shots used my 70-200 on a 50D. I used a 580ex off camera through an umbrella for the group shots, and bounced the same flash off the ceilings for the reception/dance shots.

I had plenty of gear for the shot, but realized as the date approached that it made more sense to buy a used second body than rent one. So at the last minute I bought a 50D body online, and gave it a super quick test run when it arrived ~12 hours before my flight left. Turns out that the camera was in fine condition but I realized when I arrived in Mexico that the sensor was just packed full of dust. And what's the one piece of equipment I neglected to bring? My air rocket. :oops:

thumbs WAY up, nice job. Hope the couple approves as much as this crowd :-) I wish the weddings I went to were that much fun!
