Here is my first go at a full moon with my 7D 100-400L is and 2X converter
what do you guys think of my shots

It looks nice and sharp. The best time to take a photo of the moon is when it is not full. The shadows on the terminator can be breathtaking. :)

Thanks for that great advice for a novice like me. I will give it a go the next time we have a clear sky wich is not that offten in Scotland:D

Nice and sharp and exposure is spot on. They are better than what I've been able to do so far with the exact same gear. I think the humidty where I am plays a big factor and I'm going to give it another go this winter when the air is drier. Nice job with these.

Goggs , those are really good . Don't have that lens but i know it takes great images . Very crisp and detailed on the crators . Color looks good however i like full moons to be a slight brighter but preference is in the photographer . Good work !

Hi there,

Exposure seems perfect - maybe add some contrast? Check out at 5 o'clock, you have some fancy relief showing. Would you mind posting a 100% crop of that area?

Judging by the western limb, seems you caught it in a strong libration period. Pretty cool.
