Best stock agency?

Is there a general consensus of who the best stock agency is?

I submitted many images to microstock as I was learning but oddly as my approval rate and sales went up, I submitted less and less. Finally I realized I actually had some decent photos and could (should) earn more from them.

However, I am still a ways off from having "most" of my photos get praise.

Any recommendations on a non-microstock that pays better commission, a little more open in approvals and a good flow of customers?

I'd basically like to start with the one with balance between easiest approvals and good customer base and the. Later move on to the more favorable commissioned ones.

Thanks!

You may want to check out Alamy. I sell there with decent results. It takes a large library of images (1000's) if you're wanting to make consistent sales.

This gentleman writes many articles about stock photography. You may find useful info not only about which agencies to pursue, but about the industry in general.
