Folks

A couple of weeks ago i went to a private big cat collection. Thought i would share a couple of my favorite pics with you, all taken with the 20D & 100 - 400

I know the lion pic is not as sharp as i would like it but it was a bit of a grab shot. Hope you like them. More can be seen on my Pbase site below

Cheers

Nigel

Second shot is the best by far. First is washed out -- I have the same problem -- second image is nice although it needs color adjustment. Regards,

Folks

Thanks for the feedback, appreciate it

Orlin

What colour adjustments would you recommend then.

Does anyone else agree and what would your suggestions be

Cheers

I think they are both excellent shots, To me, the color is great on both of these, the only thing I might suggest, is a little USM on both. other than that, theyre great.

Nigel,
Composition on both pics is good. I would suggest some adjustments in levels & curves and I agree with Bald Eagle regarding USM. I edited both pics and the result makes your two good pictures even better... more detail and depth. I started to post for you to see but figured I should wait to see if you wanted to see them.

Nigel, I love the first one! The expression is absolutely great, nice catch.

Thanks for looking!
