C/Y Fotodiox Pro Adapter mirror lock up issue?

I got a chipped one but it doesn't seem to work properly with mirror lock up and 2" sec. It works perfectly without mirror lock up on.

I wonder if this is my lens (contax 28mm f/2.8) issue, chip issue or adapter issue? BTW, this adapter seems to be really really high quality.
