The first image is processed using Photomatix 4 tone compressor, and the second is Enfuse. Both are from the same 3-shot sequence, bracketed 2 stops each direction. Shot at 28mm f/8.0 about 15-20 minutes after sunset. I prefer #2 but am curious what others think. I'm also open to suggestions for improvement.

in the 2nd one there is more detail in the mid range and dark areas which helps the overall image as you dont have large areas of black with no detail
