I've had DSLR's in the past but got in a little trouble with all the gear swaps/buys I did so decided to keep it simple this time. I could do a load of laundry in the time between shutter press and taking the picture. This puppy is sloooow! But, the lens is sharp, it's very intuitive to use and I love it.

Slightly off topic, but I bought the G11 to practice shooting in RAW. Alas, I am also new to Lightroom and wouldn't you know, the darn Lightroom ate my first images with the G11! No worries, though. I'll just take more!
