Some thanksgiving day activities in Afghanistan,

Receiving some new Canadian Soldiers via Air. I liked the hair of the guy on the far left, got caught in the prop blast:

Huh...deviled eggs eh? Wasn't expecting that one....

But I like the B/W conversions much better then the color. Especially the first one, the B/W conversion makes it look very CIA spy-ish to me lol

We got a huge shipment of eggs, and one of our guys said his family's tradition for thanksgiving was deviled eggs, so we decided to make a huge batch for everyone. They were awesome.

Even out in the middle of nowhere with the air support and availability of local bricks/charcoal/cookwa​re, we can get pretty creative outside the regular old army food

I like to convert to B&W using some fast B&W film grain modes in Silver Efx Pro, it does give it a range-finder-y, small discreet camera feel given the right framing and viewpoint.
