I've been in Curacao for the past couple of months and I also recently discovered the joys of having a micro 4/3 camera. It's perfect for sight-seeing / street photography because it doesn't feel like I have a 20 lb weight around my neck after a whole day of walking around. With my Canon, I could never feel like I could get good candids but with my Panasonic GF1, I can walk around and snap pictures candidly from the hip without most people noticing.

Since I never tried street photography seriously before, these are my first real attempts.

Ahhh yes. I know of the place. Unfortunately due to regulations placed upon me, I am forbidden to visit the place.

Makes me wish I hadn't turned down that law enforcement job there a few years ago. What a beautiful place!

Of course, all these pictures were taken in the center of town which is mostly the touristy areas ... the further you get away from those areas, it gets a little ... grimier.

But a lot of the landscape and beachside areas are quite picturesque.
