Wifey says "lets visit my friends new edition" I think she knew I would spend several minutes gathering my gear :)

The "new" mom probably did not expect me to do a baby session for them. We were actually invited over for lunch. She probably had a "feeling" I'd bring a camera......or two :)

Brought my 5dmk2 and 5d, 35L, 85L, 580exii. I ended up only using my X-rite passport for accurate colours, 5dmk2 paired with 35L and a window. The X-rite worked awesome and it gives me a foundation so that theres no guessing what skin tones are like in real life. Of coarse colour manipulation like split toning throws that out the door but at least I have a baseline to start with real life colours. I have soooo many more photos but heres just a random four I picked.

They are all great, but that last one is amazing. Love the composition, the conversion all of it. What a beautiful keepsake.
