C&C would be awesome! I did 6 family shoots within 4 hours today. Here is the first one. Let me know what you think!

Nicely done for the most part. I love the jumping shot. Bravo to the family for all getting up into the air at the same time.

the one thing I would say is that some of your images have too much back ground in the frame. I would like to see the members of the family in those shots larger in the frame and less BG info. I guess I like to see the people's faces in these shots more than the BG. while the BG you chose is really cool, it's the less important of the two. A stylistic thing for sure. But the real critic is your client. If they like them, then that's the only oppinion that matters. Over all, well done!
Any supplimental lighting used on these?

I agree with Chas...

I think the backgrounds are a bit too glaring and borderline blown highlights. They seem distracting. It looks like maybe you should have shot this a bit later in the day, in order to get less contrasty light.

Lastly, I'd check the CA on these shots, there is quite a bit on the background highlights.

Was this "The" Cotton Mill, in McKinney?

Okay that makes sense. I had a lot of closer up shots, but didn't like them as much and didn't post those. And no, these are all natural light.

You are right. I'm not sure what to do because I was there for my last shoot pretty late in the day, and had way more contrast in the windows. Yep this is The Mickinney Cotton Mill!

Aside from the completely blown out window light, which has already been discussed, most of these do not look very sharp to me. #6, which is a good idea, I would consider unusable.
