Here is a shot I took a while back and finally got around to finalizing the post processing for a Kodak metallic print.

What do you guys all think? I intentionally blew out some of the saturation in the sky so it comes across a bit better with the metallic paper.

Any comments?

There's a lot of negative space and I don't think the trail lights pop enough to make up for it. I would have gone for a longer exposure to get more detail in the shadows - maybe even an HDR.

I agree with usuk. There's too much black / dead space for my liking. If you are going to get it printed, I'd run a pass of noise reduction first. The grain in the sky is very glaring, and usually sky noise is very easy to take care of.

I also think a longer exposure would have been better.
Awesome idea and still a sweet picture.

IIRC it was a two and a half minute exposure.

There seems little evidence of any other illumination apart from that of the cars/ vehicles headlamps.
