Just a snapshot, I suspect that every 2nd time father has a 1Ds II in the delivery room! Forgive the bad light, this was taken in a baby warmer, exactly 59 minutes after her Mama brought her into the world, sans epidural or any other medication! Both are doing well. #2 is the baby and her mother, 3 minutes of her new life. The downside of having a Dad that shoots professionally, a well documented life! Thanks for looking.

On second thought, when did they start letting in Weapons of Mass Distraction into the delivery room? :)

^LOL, they were a bit concerned. After I explained that I had a vague idea of how to operate the mentioned equipment, they were a touch less concerned. Thanks for the congratulations, and the comment. I realize that these aren't the cutesy newborn shots, but I was after the reality of the situation and the drama and emotion of real childbirth.

Good Job! I especially love the fact that the nurse/doctor's wrist watch is in the second photo. You'll never forget exactly when this baby was born now ;) Congratulations btw :D

Interesting, I didn't even notice that. I've looked at this image a number of times, and still didn't see that. Good eyes, and thanks.

Congratulations! I love the second shot, capturing the mother's emotion. Looking forward to more images of this cute little one. :)

Congratulations on your beautiful gift! :)

The emotion of the second one, for me as a mom, is overwhelmingly intense. Took right back to the birth of my own children. wow.

Fantastic, well done. As a father the second shot brought a tear to my eye - great emotional moment!

PS: I video'd both of mine (except the actual delivery which was way too messy!!)
