Hey Phil that's an impressive shot. I'm wondering about the wide range of focus for a relatively close camera to subject distance. Can you share your exposure settings, or maybe two images combined?

one shot. 1/125,F8,ISO100, 50D, lens 17-40L,focal length 35mm, distance 3.72M.

leeport wrote in post #15424803 (external link)
damn good question, where exactly did you focus? This has to be combined images....doesnt it?

face. no, one shot

dmward wrote in post #15425105 (external link)
Wide angle lens, reasonably small aperture. Lots of DoF. Look at the size of her feet compared to her head. The other crotch shot is the same.

correct

fashionrider wrote in post #15425909 (external link)
Highly doubt it's combined images. Looks like one shot to me. Just a damn good one. :P

on shot... thanks.

This was a 4 light setup... The left side was a strip box... To the right rear was a bare 1600, a speedlight directly above and one speedlight with a 45 degree grid for the background

My family photo. AB1600 on a BD center and over the subject. 2 AB400's on the background. A Yongnuo 560II in an Apollo camera left for fill. Image made with a G1 X that fired the lights with a Pocketwizard Mini.

Nice work ,!! Can you message me a picture of your setup currently? I'm interested! Thanks bud!

AB800 on the left of the camera very close to the camera. I was standing with my daughter about a meter away from the camera. Light was on right above us.

Shoot thru umbrella attached to AB.

Very simple setup.

Thank you! First time using AB

Thanks Sylvester. Your watch photos are awesome as well. Anytime when it comes to product shots it gets pretty challenging. LOL.
