Looks like he was close to the wall, yet nice wrap. You were in front of the PLM based on catch light. ?? Short lens?

yes, same setup as the last one I posted. The large PLM with the diffusion panel with him standing almost against the white drop. He was kind enough to act as a stand in. The 24-105 at 55mm on the 5DII according to the exif data. I'm liking that technique a lot for a simple beauty light setup.

I really like it as well. I was thinking 35mm but 55mm makes sense looking at the image again. In this case I like it. For women I try hard not to go below 85mm for a head shot. Even if its not intended to make them glamourous. For guys, especially a face with that much character, the wider perspective and foreshortening work.

Yeah he was just hanging around the location where I was shooting a couple of female models and I asked him to stand in. I intentionally shot him closer than I did the ladies.
