Last Friday after taking my oldest to school, we found it school was closed due to a water main leak.
With not much else to do on such notice we decided to make a day out
of it and head to the airport to watch the planes try to get down in 50km+ winds.
I checked out the arrivals on the way and we were getting lucky this day because the Emirates A380 was landing an hour early.
Anyways, here's a few pics, enjoy.

The FE from directly head on to the A-380 (if doable) would be epic!

Number 6 is a really nice usage of a fisheye; 8 sort of makes the plane look malformed (unless that model really looks like that, I'm not personally familiar with it).

Nice catch on the UTAir. With the Canadian reg it probably hasn't been delivered to UTAir yet. I think it may be a test flight of some sort with the RAT deployed.

The A380 is just a whale, lol. It's not that deformed from the fisheye perspective. Nice shots.

Yeah, but then we look at a Super Guppy SGT, Beluga, or Mriya! Cool shots. I really like the two fisheye images.

Good eye. I was going to post the same thing.

Boy is it loud in the cockpit when that RAT is out.

I'd say you had success at YYZ with your son. Is he old enough to handle one of your cameras?
