Favicon not showing up and it is driving me nuts

This is probably on my end, but

I cleared my cache, cleared my history, cleared logins, site preferences, everything. Quit firefox, even restarted my computer in search of my buddy.

And I keep getting the default firefox 'blank' favicon showing up. For some reason this is bothering me way more than it should. Any suggestions to get this back to normal - I miss the little blue logo, especially since I'm crazy and have like 20 tabs open at once.
