Recently took a long exposure night shot with my 10-20 @ f/22 where there was a street light taking up a significant portion of the frame. There was lots of flare in there! It made me go back and look for other shots with street lights in the frame and check the aperture to see how bad the flare was.

There is some there, but it could easily be removed in post processing.

It's manageable, but now it is in the shape of the lens diaphragm.
30s @ f/22
Wow, that's a lot of flare! This one is OK only because the street light was to the side of the building. I've taken other long exposures at f/22 where the light was near the center of the frame and the shot was not useable.
