I believe it starts on friday...possibly saturday.

With a 60-70% chance of rain for Sat. the crowds could be very small . . .

I don't know how the zoo would be during a rain shower, could be nice, or it could suck.

Wow Hatch, seems like the paying them the $8 to not shoot their photo is the better business deal, where do I sign up? :P Wow, that is a ton of work with probably a very small % of repeat business to earn more.

Well... no clue if the person really did do the Groupon thing and booked the sessions as she claims. I hope it works out but as the person broke it down to her... it just doesn't look all that attractive. :D

Is there a Profit Heal brush in PS?

That actually would be more lucrative, short term anyway, Photoshop and print some Benjamins...

I'm trying to get off work tomorrow and head up to Sedona for some stormy landscape shooting...

Trying to figure out how the facebook stuff works?

I have a facebook page just for me to connect with long lost family members.

I created a facebook page for Doug James | Photography but I can't seem to figure out how to break the two apart/make it so they are separate?

Sundevilstormin said something about printing Benjamins, but I would like to include a few Grants in there as well . . .

so, here ya go

The crowds will be small. as long as it isn't electrical and you are well prepared for the rain then you should do fine. don't forget to stop by photomark and pick up some rain bag thingy for your camera. The new orangutan exhibit is partially indoors so you can keep shooting depending on their location. monkey village and wallaby walkabout will close if it gets too muddy in there. stingray bay will stay open (where I will be that day) unless the storm become electrical then we close down as well. reptiles and amphibians in the az trail should be open since they're indoors.

and I think forest of Uco should be opening up this weekend (or maybe it's next weekend) with the opening of Orang Hutan (people of the forest)

good analysis Hatch... is there any way to make money in this biz!?

I'm making money. Not a whole lot, but some. :) My business model is different though. I sell mostly digital images through my website, and have tweaked my .JPG output so that I do very little post. So basically I shoot a bunch of photos, upload them to the web and wait for customers to come and buy.

I'm still probably only making $10 an hour or something like that, but at least it is starting to pay for gas and glass.

I bought an iPad2 recently and I think it is going to pay for itself in just a few weekends.
