Museum of flight is cool.. You can visit the top of the needle or go for some iconic shots.

I was there a couple of years ago.

Is anyone else going to the airshow in Tucson this weekend? I'm planning on going - probably Sunday.

NIce shots Kenny & Sundevil... I haven't been shooting much lately... We went camping last month and I caught some cactus flowers ... and a couple other things. It was a good chance to play with my extension tubes. :)

and a bug that was eating the yellow flowers... and a dead spider, possibly caught in his own web?

Real nice Kristy, you don't need a macro lens.

Kristy, Hi, I use to visit here often but it has been a long time but I wanted to say the images you post with the cactus flowers are simply remarkable! I was wondering what set of equipment are you using or did you use on the above images?

Thanks Mike and Larry... :) I appreciate the nice words. I really would love to pick up the 100mm macro at some point though.. ;)

Larry, the shots above are handheld using my 24-70 lens and a 21mm extension tube. Nothing fancy, just natural light, maybe flash on the orange flower as it was getting cloudy, but I can't remember.

Settings are between f/14 -f/18 with ISO's between 1000 and 2000, and focal lenth at 70mm roughly, shutter between 1/160th and 1/250th. Details for each shot or on the smugmug gallery page... March. :) Hope that helps a little bit.

Kristy, I too think your shots are fantastic and was interested in the gear you used to make such great images. Thanks for sharing the images and gear, I have done some fake-macro shots with my 24mm - 70mm without the aid of extension tubes so now I know what is possible with the addition of a simple extension tube.

Great work.

Kristy, I agree with everyone else. Absolutely amazing images.

I just picked up a set of Kenkos, but have not gotten anything like yours.

Thanks for sharing!

I think I'm correct but double check about Chandler but I am pretty sure it's this weekend.
