Nice job Jason..!! Congrats on the 50D..!!
What are you using for the ocf?

My wife has been bugging me for a holiday family photo so we went to the preserve this evening. My main goal was to work with the cheapy triggers and try out my new (to me) Sekonik 358. I found this test shot to be a hoot. Nobody is looking anywhere and my kids really don't want to be there..

This is not the picture my wife selected for the holiday card, but it is the one I like best, so that's why I'm posting it..

WELL DONE

that is one oft-photographed mesquite limb - love it there at the wetland

Thanks. I took my buddy's family there as well for their holiday photos.
It is a pretty popular tree..:)

Well got the Spyder Lenscal today, lenses were all over the place, except for the 135mm pawnshop lens, hopefully this will help!

is it worth it? Was it easy to calibrate your lenses? Do you notice them to be much sharper?

I just ordered mine a few minutes ago. Really anxious to see how bad mine are. B&H has it for $10 less than anyone else.

Nice shot on #2, I just had to do Holiday pictures too. Rick came over and manned the camera. He did a great job.

Well sad news. I might have to get the 60D instead of the 7D do to an issue with other stuff. I wont have enough for the 7D so ill have to go with the 60D instead :/ Disappointed but oh well.

Yes it is, not sure which is better as I have not used the other. Works fairly easy, although there is very little direction. I'll be testing the lenses as motivation becomes available.
It is about a 1/3 cheaper I believe.

I know it is. I just dont like plastic body. I was originally going to get the 7D because i love the weight, size, and 8fps but do to someone backing into my car and leaving, i wont have enough money for the 7D just the 60D
