To bad about the car and during the holiday season. I have seen a few around that sold for around 1200 used and in good shape, maybe you can get lucky unless you want it brand new.

I dont know if you posted this for my post... Im not selling or buying. Was just talking about what happened. lol

I know it is. I just dont like plastic body. I was originally going to get the 7D because i love the weight, size, and 8fps but do to someone backing into my car and leaving, i wont have enough money for the 7D just the 60D

Your safe it wasn't about your post, it was about mine. Sorry t hear about your car, have you checked the pricing for the canon loyalty program?

cntry wrote in post #11478166 (external link)
Yes it is, not sure which is better as I have not used the other. Works fairly easy, although there is very little direction. I'll be testing the lenses as motivation becomes available.
It is about a 1/3 cheaper I believe.

grt. could you post of your results when you get that motivation;) lol

GUYS! GUYS!
This is not your thread, it is a thead on Pekka's forum, https://photography-on-the.net
All the rules of POTN apply here including that sales offers may only be posted in the MarketPlace and the penultimate paragraph in the Forum Rules of Use;

IF YOU DO NOT AGREE WITH THESE RULES THEN DO NOT DISCUSS IT IN THE FORUM. CONTACT AN ADMINISTRATOR OR MODERATOR AND PRESENT YOUR REASONING TO THEM.

The Mods are charged with the enforcement of the rules. All the rules. If that is not acceptable for you then perhaps you should follow the last paragraph of the rules.

Bless the recently fallen and their family and friends.

Brand new $1300 with lens, etc. I will only have $800 which is just enough for the 60D. All good though.

I have never heard of Canon loyalty program.
What is it?

Taunt,
You need to look into lighting if you want to take great portraits. I'd take a xsi with 2 decent monolights over a 7D any day. Not telling you that you shouldn't get your camera, just saying that getting some lights will make a much bigger difference to the quality of your images than a camera body.

Wait what? Lol i would use this camera for everything. Mainly getting it for video though. I have alot of lighting and studio equipment but i rarely take portraits as i dont know many models and no one in my family is photogenic as in, dont want pictures of themselfs.

Well, then I am completely lost. Where was something posted for sale?

Maybe I missed it, but I went back a couple pages and didn't notice anything.

Oh yeah, I came here to post a pic.

I got this at the bottom of Yarnell hill. I have no idea what to do with it, but it struck me as an interesting photo op, so I grabbed the shot with my SX-30.

IMAGE: http://www.yarnellpics.com/Other/misc/IMG0178/1131380587_tUuXh-L.jpg

What to do?..........Crop? Play with colors? Not sure, but it seems that the picture has something. Opinions?

your safe. I already apologized for my wrong doing - it was a post that I had up regarding a CF flash card. I admit I never read the rules and so I was unaware about posting things for sale outside of the marketplace.
