just wondering what's the average number of speed light potn ppl have...I currently only have three do you guys think this is good enuf for strobing.???
I probably need more...

For some applications, one is more than enough. But for others, even 10 may not be enough (I seem to recall someone using 12 or more hotshoe flashes out in the middle of the desert)!!! ...Leo

I can't see needing more than 2 or 3. If I'm doing serious enough strobing that I need more than three flashes for, I'm going to buy studio strobes. For the price of a 580 you could almost get a genesis 200 and vagabond II. or for a little bit more, a d-lite and a vagabond. Aaron

Perhaps there are a few shots that couldnt be taken another way, but for people who actually pay for their gear that many speedlites is not really an option.
