Heres a close up shot of the Eye that I took a few weeks ago when I was in London. I was timing the shutter to capture the changing of colors in they Eye. This capture of it changing between blue and red turned out to look really good with the blue not too overpowered by the red. C&C appreciated.

haha. yes i did, but they don't patrol this side of the Eye. Its only the Middle and Left side they patrol... they don't own this side I took it on the right.

Tripod cops ?

Tripod cops is referring to the cops that work at the London Eye. They patrol the walkway from the Westminster Bridge (i think is the correct name) to the Eye itself, and then the pathway with trees looking at the Eye. This is because they fear 'commercial photographers' are the ones with tripods. I have been asked 2ce on two different occasions to put it away. This location is however out of their 'jurisdiction' to enforce the rules. I have been back on another occasion and no 'tripod cops' were out so I was able to get a shot like this:

Great pictures. The first one reminds of a solid clear tube with the longer shutter release.
