heres the story as it happened 5 minutes ago.
i was sitting on the computer, typing and away and my stomach started to feel a little hollow. - i was peckish.
so i went into the kitchen and saw the remains of what was once a large vienna bread.
it was only about 3 inchs wide, and it was the crust, being fussy - i only wanted a piece with fresh bread on both sides (not the crust)
so i picked up the extremly sharp knife out of our brand new knife set, and i picked up the bread so it was upright to cut.
places my right hand on the crust (*don't get ahead of me here*)
knife in the left hand
(i'm left handed)
and in one swift movement, i pushed the knife forwards attempting to cut what was left of the bread..
but i failed to take into consideration was that being only the crust of the bread i was trying to cut, it was on an angle toward my hand.
and consequently, sliced my finger really, really bad.
at first, i didn't feel it, so i checked the wound to see if it was deep, and being the moron i am - i spread the skin on my finger to see if it was just a scratch or not.. what i saw was at first white, then red.
red red red red red drip drip drip red drip red ouch.
then the pain followed.
i ran to the bathroom openned up 3 bandaids whilst dripping blood everywhere,
got the towel and dabbed the blood off my finger, palm, wrist, forearm,
and squeezed the wound closed, then put 3 bandaids over it as a blood stopper
the reason it's bad news, and the reason i'm posting it here
is because the finger i talk about is the same finger that makes my camera make that "pchk" noise..
thats right, i've wounded my trigger finger.
now, calm down.. it may not be that bad. i'll have to have a look at it tomorrow and see if it needs stitches.
thankyou for your well wishes and kindness and sympathy in advance.
note: EVERYONE! please be careful when using anything remotely dangerous as to not put your delicate trigger finger in any form of danger!
hopefully this thread will stop many fingers being brutally wounded by such deadly weapons such as knives.
regards
- matt and his finger.

) and cut my eyebrow/forehead clean open. If you have any of those white "butterfly" things it might hold it untill you get to the doctor... I just had some in the closet so I used them instead of stiches. (I wouldn't be able to look at myself in the mirror knowing I had run into a wall if I had those little hole scars above my eye)
