Hi all:

I know I have seen this issue, just read old posts on it. Here's the deal: No issues at all with my camera or lenses, ever. Did read a post a few weeks back that described some banding in the shadows.

Here is the post (though it has been edited):
https://photography-on-the.net …t=93680&highlight=banding

Various people wrote back that it was monitor calibration, the monitor period, graphics cards, etc. However, I could see it plainly in the sample...unfortunately, not everyone could. And the post has been edited now. Anyway...

Took this last night and got the same symptom (first is pic, second is crop from the right of the subject).

Anyway, it isn't monitor, graphics etc., because the bands also print out too.

PLEASE let me know what the deal is...I have never seen this...and haven't seen it in the photos since. ISO 400 f7.1 1/400 sec with 24-70L, AI Servo mode.

I can't see anything. It's too dark. Does it print with this "banding"?

Thanks Hellashot...I just lightened them a bit...look in the brick, kind of greenish lines...Yeah, the banding prints...never had it before.
