Just purchased a Viewsonic Vp2365wb monitor. Which calibration tool would work the best for this monitor?

The Spyder 3 Pro (external link) will be decent and quite a lot cheaper.

That question is asked quite often. Unfortunately, no one else has YOUR unique monitor. I would start by lowering the Brightness setting to a usable level for photo editing. And you can take a chance and try one of these monitor profiles made by others:
