Sad day for the Bimmer

Got our first snowfall and the roads are already salted, which means time to park the Bimmer until March. Took some last shots before covering it up, C&C welcome as always.

Alarm clock, so it knows when to come out of hibernation.
Seriously though, I'd go with battery tender.

it says "Advance Battery Charging System" on the box

Nice. Good to see you're not letting that beast near the salty roads.

Thankfully where i live they don't use salt, they use grit instead, so dirty car, but not rusty car

I would put that baby in hibernation as well. I'm counting the days till spring.....

Nice car but....you're wasting your money hibernating your car. You are just saving the car for the next buyer. Hibernate it or not, it still looses value. Personnaly, I'd drive it all year round, just slap a nice set of winter tires on it and you're good to go. But, that's just me.

I've owned several Bimmers before, one of them a Schnitzer prepared 3-Series convertible ... kept it in the garage under a cover and connected to a battery tender too ... did mount 'winter' wheels on it for those rare sunny but ice cold days.

I wouldn't even think about running it in the snow, way too dangerous to damage it, you never know ... I had my BMW for fun and a company car for work and winter driving ... I can understand why you would pamper your car like that.

And on topic, very nice shots of this bright red 3-Series, wel lit and great angles !
