Any comments(positive, negative, constructive, condescending, just plain mean, etc.)

I bought my first digital camera around the first week of Oct. It is a used Canon 40D with a Tamron 18-250mm f/1:3.5-6.3 lens. I bought it by chance when i met up with someone from Craigslist to buy his iMac. He was kind enough to give me a copy of PhotoShop CS3 with it as well.

So this is my first time using a camera (besides a point and shoot every once and a great while or my iPhone's camera, haha) and my first time even looking at PS.

As most people believe their children to be smart and their wives beautiful, Im just not an objective critic of my own stuff, andI dont know any professionals to ask the opinions of.

first time? Those are some great shots. You have a good sense of composition and color.

That's a nice assortment of images, but sorry, in the "Share" areas IMAGE POSTING RULES only allow 2 attachments by the OP per thread, OR 8 embedded (linked) images, OR a combination of both totaling 8 per thread. (Maximum 1024 pixels on any side.) You can always just post a link to more, though, or better yet, post a link to a gallery so we don't have to click on each image link.
Some exceptions are group threads, like "Show Me...", "Post your best...", equipment reviews, Tutorials, etc.
You may add a few additional photos if requested, but only in a reply to other member's post and request.

#7 is pretty nice, but you missed the opportunity to put some nice highlights in the side of it, like the "Beast."

I will be sure to adhere to them from here on out.

I think i just got excited about sharing them, as ive worked very hard to get these and was having trouble picking favorites

Nice series of photos, halloween one looks pretty inventive.
