Could i ask what you mean by this?

There's a tad bit of horizontal tilt and notice the slight bulge in the middle? The first distortion (tilt) is a function of getting the focal plane square with the subject and architecture shows this defect more than a portrait would. The second distortion is due to using a wide angle lens. Both of these issues can be fixed with lens correction tool in CS4 and 5 and other imaging tools.

Is it because i wasnt dead in front of the center of the subject? Are you referring to how the stair "lift" a little on the right side? I hadnt really noticed that until now.

Wow, awesome shots. Are you sure you are a beginner with a DSLR?

Nice photos, and welcome. I'm a fairly new member as well. Also used to read the photo section on the VWVortex, but really haven't been back since finding this site. So much good info here!

These were all taken over my first 6 weeks.

Im at week 9 now. I feel like Im just right now getting a good idea of this is done. I feel like ive made progress even over just the last few weeks.

I also feel like Im slowly starting to hit a plateau :(

Like, when people ask me, "so, what kind of stuff do you shoot?", I really dont know how to answer. Most of my shots are just random.

Do you guys think they look "over-processed"?
