A very cold day was had following Exercise Wyvern Warrior 2010.
846NAS with embedded 848NAS helicopter units were conducting troop movements around Salisbury Plain.
Luckily for us, the Royal Navy's Arctic Camo (for Norwegian exercises) Seaking HC4 was out.
Struggled as i only had a 100mm prime lens but gives you an idea on conditions.
Not the best i have done but i struggled on this day with the light and conditions. It got rather cold underneath the downwash which was happening throughout the day as they continually came overhead just feet above.
