in this set is my brother, his gf and my gf, we are all good friends so there was a good atmosphere

i would like u guys to comment on the photot itself and my PP work.

1st one will be original and the 2nd will contain the PP.

I have got more but haven't got round to editting the rest yet.

btw: the average shutter speed was between 1/20th and 1/40th with the 17-55mm f/2.8 IS (the IS made a HUGE difference)

and the aperture was 2.8 i think

ISO: 800

Favourite loadout currently: Canon 7D mkI + 50mm f/1.4
Next desired loadout: Canon 5D mkII + 85mm f/1.2
Side Arm: 17-55mm f/2.8

To me the originals look better. It looks like you lost some color and detail in the edited ones.

Getting both your gf and your Brothers gf in focus with f/2.8 is going to be really hard. I found this when doing my first band shoot the other week. Try bumping it up to around 5.6

Plus you would lose a little detail shooting handheld around that speed.

i think i lost some detail when reducing the noise in each edit...
