A close friend asked me to photograph her family. Man, was I ever so nervous!! We had a great time!!!

This was my first time so any comments, constructive critizism, suggestions are MORE than welcome!!

Canon 60D; Canon Rebel XS; Canon lenses: 50mm f/1.8, EF-S 18-55mm f/3.5-5.6 IS (Rebel kit lens), EF-S 55-200mm f/4-5.6 IS, IS 18-135 f3.5-5.6 (60D kit lens), EF 100mm f/2.8 macro; and Canon 580EX II...and a whole LOT of ambition to learn!! :mrgreen:

They're very cute. I would say primarily they could benefit from more contrast, especially the black and whites.

Black and whites are more forgiving of blown out or clipped portions, so don't be afraid to lose a small amount of detail to keep it from being to grey.

nice shots but they do seem a bit dark. id try pp them a bit more to brighten them up.
