Quite literally "some" snow on Cockey Down, Wiltshire.

Hellooo!

Wiltshire definitely hasn't had as much snow as many parts of the UK but there was a second batch last night ... before that, I thought that the best place go when there are "arctic winds" sweeping across (in a North-Easterly direction) the country was an exposed hillside near Salisbury. This may have been a decision made in error - who can tell?

Perspective actually doesn't do justice to the size of this bramble. To put it in middle class terms, it was the size of a small Debenhams:

Finally, "There is no escape from the fortress of the Moles!" ... I genuinely felt a bit jealous of Mr Mole snuggled up all warm inside his hole in the ground ... out of the wind, at least:
