Excellent shot! We have those down here, but I can't say I've ever gotten a capture of them even close to that nice.

Great capture here Duane, love the sharpness of the image and nice colors also. Now get him to turn his head towards the sun and lets see that bright colored gorget.

photo_luver, I was using the Sigma 50-500 @ 500mm with a 36mm extension tube on a Giotto's MT-8170 tripod with a MArkins M10 ballhead.

That image is way too sharp. It will tend to make the rest of us sell our cameras in frustration.

Please apply gausian blur to anything you upload in the future, so the rest of us won't look so incompetent by comparison. ;)
