I checked out the Public Gardens for any possibilities, and found a bunch of ducks and swans. I couldn't help it - I'm a sucker for the feathered ones - so I went back to the car to grab the 70-200 and fooled around for an hour...   You can take my 100-400 L away when you pry it from my cold, dead fingers.

These shots really were all about the backgrounds. When I saw the golden water i knew that I had to find something to shoot. Luckily the swans were gracious and let me get very close. You can take my 100-400 L away when you pry it from my cold, dead fingers.

The duck needs to be rotated clockwise a few degrees as it's not level and you kind of cut that tail very close here.
