Here are some shots from my Alma Maters State Championship game played at the New Meadowlands Stadium.
We won 23-21.
Let me know what you guys think. Thanks.

You've got some good action shots (2,3,5,8) but your WB is off in a few of these (too much magenta) and they could be a little sharper. If you already sharpened in PS then it's an AF issue that only takes practice as I've seen some sharp images from the 50D.

1) crop is too tight, I want to see more of his helmet.
2) tighter crop, solid image.
3) get lower.
4) a little tight and focus is a little off, although great job exposing the face.
5) solid.
6) doesn't do anything for me - no face.
7) good emotion.
8) get lower, straighten horizon.

Not a bad series, just minor things that everyone can improve.

Canon 1D3, Sigma 70-200 f2.8, Sigma 120-300 f2.8 (sale), 1.4x converter, 580EX.

Thanks for the advice.

I do need to get lower. I've been making a mental note of that.

thanks again.

1 and 4 weren't cropped. i had the 70-200 and he was right up on me.
