That does look tasty. We are blessed with lots of bakeries though a chicken cordon bleu sandwich really isn't a bakery type thing. More of a sandwich shop thing which we have in abundance as well. Anyway, Chicago has a large Polish population and there are many Polish bakeries scattered about. I think it's one of the main reasons Chicago is so high on the list of fat folks. There is not a healthy thing in those shops. :)

Nope....that it isn't....but it is very hard to make a good sandwich when you don't have good bread or rolls to start with. ;)

Sam's Club and Walmart have recently added some decent breads and rolls to their offerings. Most of the local bakeries here are operated by granola crunchers....I want bread, I don't want something made with materials I would use to seed my lawn or breads that could double as building materials. hehehe
