Good morning. Happy Friday.
Well yesterday was tax day for me. I'm still depressed. I added up all the taxes I pay, fed, state, local, social, med, real estate, and sales and over 50% of what I make goes to one tax or another. Quite depressing.

Anyone use a bluray to back up data? We overbought at work and I have the opportunity to pick up 2 units really cheap. I have been thinking of using them for long term backups. I can backup my whole library on 20 disks or so. At a buck a disk this is pretty cheap backup Not sure why, but call me JJ.

With a growing library with various external drives and such, you really need a solid backup drive in place so you can regularly make a copy of all your files. I recently had one of my externals start behaving badly but everything was backed up so I could plug in my backup drive and be up and running while I troubleshoot the library drive. I just have the two external drives. Thought I would be covered with the two. Use one and the other is the backup. But with the one not working now, I have no other backup unless I put all my photos back on my laptop. And use the working external as my backup. Paula
