Thanks Julian!!!! And cute sweetie that you have there... Stunned that it's been a month though!!!
Thanks Omar!!!!

Holy crap! That's a TON of people!!!!!!

Been out of town... could've had internet access... just didn't have time... Spent a night with my boyfriend, then left his house Monday morning to head to Greensboro for two days... Worked my tushie off for the last two days... got home tonight... WORN OUT! And headed off to work tomorrow! UGH!

Yup it was a mess of people out there. The slow moving portion of it is actually the most dangerous! With people breaking too late

Jenn time for some well earned sleep on your part! :)

I rigged up a Lowpro so that I can hook it to the handlebars. It holds my 7D with the 100-400, the 5D with the 24-105 and I got the 17-40 tucked in there as well. Also have a small bike tool kit and a can of fix-a-flat. I use to backpack it but it's murder on the back. Much easier on the handlebars.

My bike is the blue one with the pack on the front.

Nice trek JJ! :D

Awesome man!!! We are def doing it next year. The verrazano bridge kicked everyones arse but none of us quit. We made it over. Mind you that bridge is right at the end. So you have put in close to 40 miles already before hitting it. Great challenge. Our eyes are now set on the NYC Century Tour in September. 100 miles :D

^ Ace!! That is great...

Keep it up and you'll have thunder thighs. I used to cycle a heck of a lot before getting more and more into playing football. But once I did, my legs hurt even more, as cycling only used up certain parts of the muscle, and left other parts weaker (esp, running side to side)...

100 miles, I'd love to do that!

It's amazing at how a small the rise gets much bigger after a long ride. :)

Not sure why, but call me JJ.

Thanks Man. I was really proud of Mayra. She never got off her bike. Going up the verrazano i tried to stay next to her as motivation but my bike is a compact while she is on a triple. Bit difficult for me to keep the slower pace she had on the uptake so i had to get off when i noticed how much further ahead of her i was. If not i would have tipped over since im clipped in  I saw her smile and peddle faster to catch up. Really proud of her. She thanked me for not going further. I know that could be disheartening a bit if you see someone your with leaving you behind as your struggling. It was a great moment :)

You have that right JJ. I asked a bunch of rider with me and they all said the same. It just felt as the accent kept going on forever!!! You keep looking up expecting to be over the hump but it just never comes

Your not kidding. It gives you a boost of energy. I actually peddled here. After going so slow on the way up your body is just asking for speed :D
