I posted this a few days ago. I've added more track since then. What shows in these pictures is about half of what will constitute the finished layout.

Hi Omar, did you see those vimeo links?

Damn Crap!!! I forgot! Between the barber and going home to pack i had little time on the comp. I was posting off my phone yesterday in between it all. :( I could watch it on my iphone but those videos are meant to be watched at HD levels full screen.

I have a definite plan in mind right now, and it only has two levels. That doesn't mean that those plans can't change. I've already changed the initial design a few times. (I always thought that was just a woman's prerogative)

I'm really anxious to get past this stage, and move onto the scenery. That's the fun, messy part, and it's the area of model railroading where I have absolutely no experience. It will be a real learning experience, and an opportunity for a little artistic expression.

I'm not short. I'm concentrated awesome!

I missed this last night. Looks like it's going to be an awesome layout. :)

Chief, are you going to put your alarm clock on the train line, alarm goes off (train horn), you move the train to your bedside, and hit the snooze button?

I can see plans changing as you go. Things come in mind once your actually building it all that didnt seem to be there when you were envisioning it all.

The scenery part i think is the most fun aspect. Building a small town and then on to the mountains and trees will be great. Are you going to add a river or lake aspect?

Fresh kill!

Interesting work with the 3d shots. Really cool what they were able to do with the computer today.
