and first with 7D. I'm not going to use strobes so this is about as good as it's going to get.

1. Love these shots for the kids. Their parents do too!

2. Shooting in heavy traffic ... another from the JV game

3. From the varsity game ... the takeoff ...

4. ... and the throwdown!

5. This boy is really small. He's more of a 'street-baller' than a team player. Played about 10 total minutes and had several turnovers and no points that I can recall.

6. Yes, I know ... the feet. They weren't cropped off, I didn't get them in the frame!!! And I don't mind cropping basketball landscape, either.

You caught some really nice action. I'm not sure that I agree that they won't get better because you will never strobe. I do think that they look nice for ambient light as well as for iso 2000. Great job!

Thanks. Home gym is about 'average' for lighting. We have a few that the light is really nice. I'll get to them sometime this winter.

Was pretty rusty and missed some nice shots due to getting the camera there 'late' and missed focus.

This season getting shots of everything else that goes on during a HS basketball Friday night game is another area of focus.

Thanks again for looking and commenting.
